Software engineering

I began programming computers in 1976, and soon found my area of specialty in database applications.

Business applications I have designed include accounting packages, inventory control, point of sale, job cost tracking and reporting, equipment preventive maintenance tracking and reporting, mailing list management, and other custom applications that defy a brief description.

In the 1990s I published software for MS-DOS that is still in use today (see this page if you are curious). My most recent web-enabled database-driven application work is for Don's Directory, an American firm that publishes directories of companies in the oil industry.
